How to access STAAR assessment results Online

STAAR performance results for the Spring 2018 assessments are now available.

Parents and guardians are able to access their child’s results and other resource's at TexasAssessment.com through the STAAR Student Portal. Instructions for accessing the STAAR Student Portal are detailed below.


STAAR Student Portal Log In Instructions

Visit TexasAssessment.com.

  • If you have your child’s Unique Student Access Code:
    • Enter your child’s Unique Student Access Code and Date of Birth
    • Click on “Log in to Student Portal”
    • You should then see your student’s performance results
  • If you do not have your child’s Unique Student Access Code:
    • Click on “Find My Unique Student Access Code”
    • You will then enter three items:
      • Student’s First Name
      • Student’s Social Security Number
      • Student’s Date of Birth
    • Click the “Go” button
    • After you see “Access Code Lookup Successful”, click the “Go” button again
    • You should then see your student’s performance results

How to Read Your Child’s STAAR Results

Please see the definitions below to understand what indicates passing levels for STAAR assessments.

  • Did Not Meet Grade Level (Not Passing): Shows a lack of basic understanding of course content — student needs significant support in the coming year.
  • Approaches Grade Level (Passing): Shows some knowledge of course content but may be missing critical elements — student may need additional support in the coming year.
  • Meets Grade Level (Passing): Shows strong knowledge of course content — student is prepared to progress to the next grade.
  • Masters Grade Level (Passing): Shows mastery of the course content — student is on track for college and career readiness.
